Hello
When someone says they have a passion for their career, I can honestly say that is how I still feel even after forty years working with flowers.
My flower journey began when encouraged by my Mom I got a job as a Saturday girl in a local flower shop at Tettenhall. I loved the variety a career in floristry offered, the challenge of being creative and making something different with flowers every day.
After completing my floristry qualifications I trained as a floristry tutor and taught at Wolverhampton College for nearly twenty years.
I have a small studio at home where I spend hours creating floral designs helped by my feline companion 'Ginny'
I promote sustainable floristry and where ever possible use as many products that I can that are 'greener' for the environment.
I am an academic fellow of the Institute of Professional Florists and became a Master Florist in 2008
"I enjoy training and its so satisfying seeing someone else learn something new that gives them so much pleasure"
